Welcome to Smile & Shine Studio! We are so excited to have you as a customer! Our studio is known for being cosy and pretty in pink, a home studio located near the water in Deception Bay, Queensland.
S&S Studio came to life to bring people more confidence in their smile, no more closed mouth smiling in photos! I too was once camera shy, not wanting to show off my (not so) pearly whites back then, so I know first hand how important it is to love the smile you have, it's one of our biggest assets!
Smile and Shine Studio is a friendly, warm and welcoming space designed to feel as though you're in a shop studio. We even give you a tablet through the session to listen to music or watch Netflix during your 60 minute + session!

Yes, absolutely. This is an oral procedure that just like any other procedure can have adverse reactions. These reactions are largely minimised by practicing good oral hygiene. All clients are asked through our book tool if they have healthy gums, and pre procedure sit downs will also help to understand overall oral hygiene. Clients who are deemed as not being suitable will be advised to book with their dentists for approval for the procedure.
We recommend water only for the first 3 hours after your teeth whitening session, and then white diet only for the following 48 hours. Teeth whitening opens up the microscopic pores in our teeth, making them more susceptible to staining.
Some discomfort is completely natural, and clients report feeling some stinging when applying the whitening gel. Although some discomfort is natural, we always ensure to allow the gel to sit for at least 5 minutes before checking with the client on their pain level. If the discomfort is too strong, clients will be asked to rinse and book in with a dentist to discuss their sensitivity.
Each client is different, some may not feel any pain at all, whilst others may feel it for up to 24 hours after the procedure.
This one is on you! Diet, lifestyle, hygiene and overall health will always play a part in how long your teeth will stay white for. After the first teeth whitening session, we always recommend coming back after 6 weeks for a top up to help boost the results.
